During my fourth year at varsity we were instructed to make a lamp. A few days later I came across an old soda stream bottle in a secondhand store and thought it might make a good base for a lamp. My girlfriend at that time suggested I use a colander as a filtering device and helped me join the two objects together to create a new function for them.
